2016

October 2016 | Emerald Isle Discovery Tour

Tracing a path through the north of Ireland from Shannon to Dublin.

Our inaugural tour was an all-round success. We had 10 days of beautiful weather as we ventured all about from Galway to Donegal (my home county!) to Belfast to Dublin. Views at the Cliffs of Moher, Slieve League Cliffs, Giant's Causeway, Glenveagh National Park, and Newgrange Tomb inspired awe while visits to the Free Derry Museum, Titanic Belfast, and W.B. Yeats' grave provided insight into Ireland's recent history. Good eats were had at John Keogh's The Lock Keeper and we relaxed in style at the Lough Eske Castle Hotel & Spa before saying farewell with a show from The Irish House Party. A grand Irish adventure!
